I've been working on a half-built desert-style world for a while, and today I opened it up and built up three small lots I was pretty proud of. I made a library, a junkyard (my first so far) and a small park.

This is what the park looked like. Nice, isn't it? The theme of this neighborhood is supposed to be "making the desert green" so there are a couple of dead trees in the background where the planting failed, then there's a ring of palm trees that provides enough shade for other plants to go. I put the lightest filter on the terrain paint and mixed up dirt, weeds, dry grass and flowers to try to make it look like the plants are just starting to grow in the shady areas. I only put in one grill and some benches, because it's a small park in the cheap part of town, so there's not much entertainment. I really liked how it came out.
Too bad I forgot to save, huh?
